| The second line, divided, shows its subject patient and obedient. To the small man comporting himself so, there will be good fortune. If the great man comport himself as the distress and obstruction require, he will have success. |

| The future is embodied in Hexagram 59 - Huan (Dissolution): There will be progress and success. The king goes to his ancestral temple, and it will be advantageous to cross the great stream. It will be advantageous to be firm and correct. |
 | The things most apparent, those above and in front, are embodied by the upper trigram Chi'en (Heaven), which is transforming into Sun (Wind). As part of this process, strength and creativity are giving way to penetration and following. |
 | The things least apparent, those below and behind, are embodied by the lower trigram K'un (Earth), which is transforming into K'an (Water). As part of this process, docility and receptivity are giving way to danger and the unknown. |
